In Fund I, we set out to define our method for creating value by working with our portfolio’s management teams. In Fund II, we continued to work with management teams and focused on business succession, and carve-outs. With the support from our investors, we launched Fund III at the end of March 2023. We will continue to role out our philosophy and value creation methods with this new fund.

Currently, increasing number of Japanese companies suffer from the lack of successorship. Also, global competition is having a greater impact on the economy of Japan, which makes it a challenging business environment for Japanese companies.
